Have you ever thought about the fact that every thought you have, every action you take, is shaped by your past? That your brain follows patterns that, through years of repetition, have formed into a programming. A programming ofĀ yourĀ brain. And because this is familiar territory, you perceive it as ā€˜safe’ and continue following these patterns. But what if these patterns no longer serve you? What if they are holding you back from becoming the person you want to be because of the experiences and beliefs of your past?

It is precisely through these patterns, the routine you follow daily, that you live your life. By sticking to this routine, you experience a sense of security, comfort, and familiarity, making it feel safe.


Every thought you entertain is a step toward the future you create. Choose wisely, because your reality starts in your mind.

The illusion of random circumstances

This means that your life is not made up of random circumstances that simply happen to you. Although it often seems like you have no influence due to, for example, where you grew up or what you were exposed to in your childhood, in essence, your life is a reflection of your inner state. The thoughts you focus on throughout the day, the beliefs you hold, and the actions you take or fail to take, shape the reality you experience.


You create your reality

Nothing changes unless you change. Change starts within you. When you choose to take responsibility for your mindset, choices, and energy. When you go through something intense, such as the loss of a loved one, burnout, or an accident, these life-altering events often force you to stop. To reflect on who you are at that moment and how you have lived your life up until then. Often, we only come to this realization when we are at our lowest.


But what if you start making changesĀ todayĀ instead of waiting for such experiences to force you into awareness? What if you don’t wait until life makes you stop and reflect on the question,Ā "Is this the life I want to live? Does this truly make me happy?"Ā Because if your thoughts determine your reality, then the responsibility lies with you to become aware of the thoughts and stories you tell yourself throughout the day.


Mindset shift for growth

Your personality consists of three aspects: your thoughts, your emotions, and your behaviors. This means that when you shift your thoughts, for example, by meditating daily, the emotions you experience and the actions you take will also change. And that is how transformation begins.


Breaking free from autopilot mode

Many people live based on routines. Today could, in a way, be copied onto tomorrow. The alarm rings at the same time, the same routine to start the day, day in, day out. The same thoughts running through your head, yet you expect or hope for different results and a different future.


But when you keep doing the same thing every day, nothing changes, no matter how much you want it to. Only when you become aware of your patterns can you create change. What do you think about daily? What emotions do you keep reliving? Are they aligned with the future you want to create, or are they keeping you stuck?


Every thought is a choice

So if your brain is a record of the past, then change requires new input. You need a mindset shift for growth. Every single moment is an opportunity to choose differently, to shift your mindset, to take action toward your desired future. What reality do you want to create? And more importantly, what are you doing today to align with it?
